    Owner and history

    Clos Vougeot is a large, 50-hectare vineyard located between Chambolle-Musigny and Vosne-Romanée. The soil is very diverse, a mixture of limestone and clay. The vineyard is cultivated biodynamically to best respect this exceptional terroir. Joseph Drouhin owns 0.91 hectares of this legendary Burgundy vineyard. He has been cultivating his vines organically since 1990, and even biodynamically a few years later.

    - Aged in oak barrels for 18 months (20% new barrels)
