The Domaine David Duband Coteaux Bourguignons 2021 Blanc displays a clear, pale yellow color with silvery highlights. The nose is expressive, with notes of white flowers, citrus, and white-fleshed fruit. On the palate, freshness dominates with a lovely vivacity, supported by a taut and precise structure. The balance is perfect, the clean and thirst-quenching finish offers an elegant floral and mineral persistence.

The Domaine David Duband vineyard stretches across carefully selected plots, resting on clay-limestone soils typical of Burgundy. For this Coteaux Bourguignons white wine, the vines benefit from excellent sun exposure and certified organic farming practices, guaranteeing grapes of optimal quality. The well-drained soils promote the expression of freshness and finesse in the white wines, offering a typicity that beautifully complements the Chardonnay.

    Owner and history

David Duband embodies the new generation of Burgundy winemakers, combining technical mastery with respect for the environment. Trained in Beaune, he took over the family estate in the 1990s with a clear ambition: to reveal the terroir through organic farming and sensitive winemaking. His commitment to sustainable viticulture, as well as his meticulous work on both white and red wines, has placed the estate among the region's leading producers.

    Vinification and aging

At Domaine David Duband, winemaking relies on gentle, minimal-intervention practices. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve aromatic precision.
For this 2021 Coteaux-bourguignons Blanc vintage, the aging process took place in vats on fine lees for several months, without oak, allowing the natural tension of the wine to be preserved while providing a beautiful texture in the mouth.
