The Framboisière Estate

"La Framboisière" is a monopole of the Faiveley family in Mercurey, which gave its name to the Domaine de La Framboisière. Since 2011, this label has brought together the wines of Mercurey, Givry, Montagny, and Rully from Domaine Faiveley, which has been present in Nuits-Saint-Georges since 1825 and in the Côte Chalonnaise for four generations. The wine from this monopole is a luscious and delicately fruity Mercurey, which would perfectly complement a duck breast, for example.

Bouchard Père & Fils

Founded in 1731, Bouchard Père & Fils is the largest estate in the Côte d'Or and one of the oldest wine houses in Burgundy. It cultivates 133 hectares of vines, including 12 Grand Cru vineyards and more than half Premier Cru. The wines produced are aged for several months in the underground cellars of the Château de Beaune or the Cuverie Saint-Vincent, allowing them to develop under ideal conditions.

The young wines

Buying wine en primeur means purchasing it directly from the producer while it is still aging, that is, while it is maturing in barrels. You must therefore wait a few years before the eagerly awaited wine is delivered in bottles. The advantage is that buying wine en primeur is less expensive than buying it after it has been bottled.
