A family story
Paolo Scavinohe created the estate in 1921 with his son. In the heart of theBaroloThe vines are passed down from generation to generation.
Enrico Scavinoand his daughters are now at the head of the estate. The 4th generation of the family is carrying on the traditions.Enrico Scavinois a talented winemaker who has successfully combined tradition and innovation to create magnificent wines. He began working in 1951, at the age of 10, helping his father on the estate. He inherited the family passion and is committed to showcasing the beautiful terroir ofBaroloToday, he has over 60 years of experience and is among the region's iconic producers.

The domainPaolo Scavinospans 30 hectares located inBaroloThey own 19 vineyards in 6 of the 11 villages ofBaroloThe family is passionate about viticulture and working the vines. This passion allows the vines to maintain impeccable health with minimal intervention and the preservation of biodiversity. The terroir is preserved, and the vines flourish. The wines are produced from three local grape varieties:Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo. THENebbiolois a typical grape variety of the Grands Crus of Piedmont.
The style of the wines

At the estate, viticulture is practiced with minimal intervention in order to preserve the full authenticity of the terroir.BaroloFermentation and maceration take place in stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeasts. Each vintage is aged and stored separately in oak barrels. Before release, the wine is kept for 10 months in the bottle. Each cuvée expresses the typicity of its terroir:
- Barolo DOCG, Monviglierois often considered theGrand Cru de Verduno.Aromatic and complex, this vintage impresses with its elegance.
- Barolo DOCG CannubiAll the wealth and concentration ofBaroloare found in this sublime vintage with its perfect balance.
