The Corton-Pougets vineyard, situated on the slopes of the renowned Corton mountain, benefits from exceptional clay-limestone soil. The Pinot Noir vines, planted on this terroir, enjoy optimal sun exposure. These conditions impart a unique concentration and minerality to the grapes, essential elements for producing great wines of great depth and excellent aging potential.

Vinification and aging

At Domaine Louis Jadot, winemaking is carried out using traditional methods to respect the terroir's identity. The 2022 Corton-Pougets Grand Cru is vinified with gentle extraction, preserving the finesse of its aromas. This wine is aged in French oak barrels for approximately 18 months, allowing for slow and harmonious maturation.
