Since its acquisition in 1989, the Perrodo family has restored to this property all its architectural splendor and a viticultural dynamism which gives rise in Labégorce to a charming wine of very fine structure, with bright fruit and great finesse. The Perrodo family also acquired the Château Marquis d'Alesme, Third Grand Cru Classé of Margaux, wishing, once again, to elevate this vintage to the level of the appellation's flagship wines.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Labégorce is a meticulous process, blending tradition and modernity. The grapes, carefully hand-harvested, are destemmed and crushed before being placed in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Each plot is vinified separately to preserve its unique character. Fermentation proceeds slowly, allowing for a gentle extraction of tannins. Aging in oak barrels, some of which are new, lasts approximately 12 to 18 months, giving the wines aromatic complexity and a harmonious structure.
