    Owner and history

Château La Mission Haut-Brion is located on the Passac-Léognan plateau and benefits from this exceptional terroir. The vineyard covers 26 hectares. Its soil is known for being gravelly, and its clay-limestone subsoil supports 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, and 11% Cabernet Franc. The Château also produces a fine white wine made from Sémillon (63%) and Sauvignon Blanc (37%).

    Vinification and aging

The grapes are harvested by hand. Only the very best are selected. The winemaking process is equally meticulous, utilizing the latest technologies. Each vat produces a unique wine, the finest of which are chosen for Château La Mission Haut-Brion. The wine then ages for 20 to 24 months.
