    Owner and history

    Located on the hillsides of the Margaux appellation, the vineyards have stretched across 52 hectares in a single block since 1855. The gravelly soils, along with the stream that separates the two slopes, ensure efficient drainage of the vineyard, creating a harmonious balance. The grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), Merlot (35%), Cabernet Franc (20%), and Petit Verdot (5%) are blended to create the renowned wine of Château de Tertre, considered a benchmark in Margaux.
