100 hectares divided into more than 61 plots. The vineyard is on average 45 years old, and the grape varieties are two-thirds Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented mainly by Merlot and a little Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The Grand Vin of Cos d'Estournel is made from vines averaging 55 years old.
