Family origins

It all begins in 1964when the family Boisset acquired its first vines around Gevrey-Chambertin. In 1999, the owners decided to combine these plots to create a domaine emblematic, whose name is rooted in their family and geographical history.

Transition to biodynamic farming

Of the 2001, THE domaine chooses the path of biodynamics, generalizing these practices across its entire Demeter-certified vineyard, and committing to methods that respect natural rhythms and soil life.

Expansion and contemporary vision

Under the direction of Pierre Vincent (since 2006), former technical director of Pascal Marchand, THE domaine extends its reach to 29 appellations and leverages its family power to acquire prestigious vineyards (Clos Blanc de Vougeot, Corton, etc).

Geological diversity

With its 34 ha in prestigious appellations such as Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vougeot, Corton or Puligny, the domaine rests on a remarkable geological kaleidoscope: limestone, clay-limestone, marl, on the Côte de Nuits and Beaune.

Biodynamic practices

Viticulture, practiced since 2001, is based on biodynamic preparations, lunar calendar, plowing with horses on 15 ha, total abstinence from herbicides and pesticides, in a comprehensive ecosystemic approach.

Controlled yields

Careful plot management, high planting density and limited yields guarantee concentrated and expressive grapes, faithful reflections of the terroir.

Winemaking and aging at domaine

Delicate cellaring methods

The hand-harvested grapes are followed by gentle pressing, then a transfer by gravity to short macerations (4–5 days for Pinot Noir), with spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts.

Precise breeding

The wines are aged 12–15 months in oak barrels (30% new wood for the reds), without fining, without excessive filtration and according to the natural rhythm (lunar phases), to preserve purity, minerality and elegance.
